Since 1994, the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry has been pleased to provide shoes and socks to kids through the Clarence Sportsman Shoes for Kids Program. The shoes are purchased locally at a Payless Shoe Store and Walmart has been very generous by donating most of the socks. Free shoes (and socks) are available to children living in Carbon County. All children must be present to obtain a pair of shoes.
